PM notification on my email.
 

Why does it take 6 hours (after I get a PM on the site) to get a PM notification on my email?

And why does it take so long for the site to send a PM? Like 15 seconds after you hit "Send" before it even starts loading the PM to send it.

I swear this site is coming to a screeching halt again.

Mine takes like 10 minutes.


I'm more annoyed that every time i post in a thread, it automatically subscribes. Then i get a fuckton of emails every time someone posts in the tread.

mmGilbert: go to your User options, you can change that.

Easy: I'm going to send you a PM, let me know how long the email takes.

You are right about how long it takes to send the PM though. I'm on a very fast connection here and from the time I pressed send it took 21 seconds.

Site has been rather slow the past few days. (on and off)

Probably an issue with email. Twice in the last two weeks receiving email from an external source was was delayed due to a widespread virus.

Now they're coming at regular speed. Fairly instant actually.

Just 2 hours ago or so I received a bunch of email notifications from many many hours ago.
