Looks great. Love the colors and like that the logo is by itself and no longer intermingling with the car.

i have a suggestion:

the banner could be randomized to show a different picture of an rx8 each time the page is loaded.
that way, we could have multiple angles/colors/trims(R3) represented in the forum banner.

example (look at the banner for finalgear and then refresh the page):

http://www.finalgear.com/

Hey zoom it looks different for me. The background color stretches all the way across for me with the RX8 in the center.

I get the streaking too. The background on the header needs to be changed.

This line:

Code:
<!-- logo -->
<a name="top"></a>
<table border="0" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">
<tr>
	<td align="left"><a href="index.php"><img src="https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=137943&stc=1&d=1240936252" border="0" alt="RX8Club.com" /> </a></td>

<td width="100%" height="76" background="images/misc/logo2-bg.jpg"></td>

</tr>
</table>
<!-- /logo -->
images/misc/logo2-bg.jpg needs to be updated to match the background of the new image. It's not hard to do, just needs to be done.

I'd like to help out with vectorizing the logo, so it will be easier for you to scale it, without having to clean up the image every time.

Looking Good!

(Sorry I HAD TO EDIT THIS POST - it didn't come off as encouraging as I hoped!)
Big Hurk Below, has my quote... if anyone wants to know how to fail at soliciting to help out, well.. there it is below.

Or perhaps, someone just needs to reproduce a high rez version that can be scaled down.

Either way, it's difficult, but worth it.
yea i think a hi res version would be great, might as well because HD monitors are becoming more popular.

also another thing is can we get more color themes for the page so were not just stuck with --Dark Style and --Lite

gyro its not pixelating- or at least that is not hte issue im currently trying to fix. the issues is the header pic notcovering the backround. watch some people are seeing as stretching is actually the back round pic you can see in the "non 37-" lite style.

what i just tried- replacing the path for it to look at that backround with the path to the new header pic didnt work.

or at least didnt appear to- just had a thought maybe the cookies prevented me from seeing the change....

Zoom44, can you get onto the server where the forum is actually hosted?

There should be a folder on the server at this location:

"rx8club.com/images/misc/".

In that folder, there's a file called "logo2-bg.jpg" This image is the blurring that people are seeing and doesn't match. You need to create a new background that is equivalant to the edge of the new logo. Should only be 1 pixel wide so that it will tile across the x-axis. This will make the image blend with the background.

If you need me to create the background image, let me know.
