Exclamation Forum problem

I am a normal visitor to rx8 club, although I haven't really posted. Earlier at about 6:45, I went into the site, and I noticed the forum said I was logged on as hadokenny, and this is in no way my username, so I simply logged off, and it continued as hadokenny, then I logged off again, and logged on. Really odd, this might be a cookie problem. Security problems???
Just saying that, thought it was really weird.
Also, fyi, before I went on this site, my computer froze, and I had to restart manually, but I still highly doubt that was the problem.
I'll try to post sometime.

This is a cookie problem that sometimes occurs to all of us. To resolve it next time it happens, just log out, close all your browser windows, then reopen one and log back in.

I have a problem where images refuse to download on the forum. The text downloads fine, but images are a no go - the little IE logo just keeps spinning forever. It seems to happen when Outlook is also open, but that could just be a coincidence. Does this happen to anyone else?

it's a conflict with ie6. until one software or the other gets updated this will happen occasionally. you'll have to close all of your browser windows and then open ie again and return to the site.

I'm only running IE 5. Also, closing the browser windows doesn't do the trick. Only rebooting seems to help, but only for a while. I instinctively hit the Outlook shortcut to check my email and then it's all the same again. I haven't launched Outlook tonight and haven't had the problem. ??

Edit: I'm running W2K on my laptop, btw, if that means anything.
