go down to user control panel on the right below your subscribed threads. click on it then go to subscriptions. check the box for instant email.

hope this helps.

I did not receive anything. :( I reset the notifications, let's see what happens.

RotorGeek 07-07-2005 02:47 PM

I still dont get a damn thing. I allready tried reseting it. What is going on here.

L8APEX 07-07-2005 03:29 PM

yep, still nothing, came in to work to see, and no RX-Club.com email. :(

cleoent 07-07-2005 03:34 PM

trhoads, you may have a spam filter, or maybe your company has a filter of some kind.

salituro64 07-08-2005 08:38 AM

So what's the trick? I reset and still get nothing. I also noticed I had none under the CP section either.

salituro64 07-25-2005 07:53 PM

 Still Not Working

Jedi54 07-26-2005 07:26 PM

still not working...

RedSheDevil 07-26-2005 07:32 PM

um, i haven't gotten emails since i joined. But I get them from another vB site, so what's the deal? Is there some secret switch someone can flip? Omicron can you wave your magic wand? Pretty please?

salituro64 07-26-2005 08:25 PM

No secret switch, just a problem with the web site that has gone on for many weeks.

missinmahseven 08-03-2005 06:35 PM

I run me own mail using sendmail (shredmail!?)

Anyway.. sometimes I get 'em, sometimes I don't,.. I think it's a dns issue. Check out this snippet from my maillog:

Aug 3 19:30:48 kurumi sendmail[2791]: j73NUmh3002791: ruleset=check_mail, arg1=<nobody@web2.rx7club.com>, relay=[199.217.161.132], reject=553 5.1.8 <nobody@web2.rx7club.com>... Domain of sender address nobody@web2.rx7club.com does not exist
SOmetimes the mail comes in as "rx8club" and is allowed thruogh.

But at least I'm having a problem resolving for web2.rx7club.com **EDIT** web1.rx7club.com is also not resolving, causing the same issue.

Basically, a mailserver config'd to reject mail from bogus domains will reject a domain to which it can't resolve to an ip.

This is me trying to resolve web1.rx7club.com from work:

[louie@mail louie]$ nslookup web1.rx7club.com
Note: nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases.
Consider using the `dig' or `host' programs instead. Run nslookup with
the `-sil[ent]' option to prevent this message from appearing.
Server: 10.100.1.145
Address: 10.100.1.145#53

** server can't find web1.rx7club.com: NXDOMAIN

And from home:

[root@kurumi ~]# nslookup web1.rx7club.com
Server: 192.168.0.50
Address: 192.168.0.50#53

** server can't find web1.rx7club.com: NXDOMAIN
I hope this helps. :)

lazi 08-05-2005 01:12 AM

Jedi54 08-10-2005 07:45 AM

salituro64 08-10-2005 07:48 AM
