Dealing with Trolls
Maybe we should require that a new member contribute to current threads before starting a new thread. For example, before a new member can start a new thread, they must make 50 post (just throwing out a number). This would keep individuals like ForumTroll from signing up with the forum just to make a new thread entitled, "RX-8 = Failure".

Trolls will troll, whether they can start new threads, or just jump on existing ones. That won't stop anything.
And requirements like 50 posts before being able to start a new thread will only encourage post-whoring so that people can reach that limit. We already have enough people on here who do that just to change their descriptions. Imagine how many people would be doing that if a post count affects something significant. ---jps |

That is the fastest, most reliable way to bring it to our attention. ---jps |
