Hey I spent a little bit of time doing this because I was bored, I think a 2 door Rx-8 looks really good and Mazda should make a car with this similar styling. Tell me what you think about the photos.

Standard body style Shinka Rx-8:

That is no "standard" RX-8, my friend. That is the original Shinka!

 

the two door looks a little weird because you kept the same roof length, mainly the back should be moved forward a tad. but the convertible looks perfect!

 

Well I know it is a Shinka due to blackberry pearl (not a rotary newb) but I meant the usual body style.

 

door looks way too long and the rear looks like its high on steroids.

 

Well this is the first time I've chopped the roof off of a car so excuse the imperfections. Also I've been using photoshop for less than 2 months.

I could do somehting like this too but the vert was my main project, I made the 2 door because I planned on making the vert later on. I probably would've used FD doors in a more serious coupe project. (also I picked a pain in the *** color to work with since the Rx-8 is the only car that would have it, well Cx-7 too)

 

Looks like an RX7 1/2

 

On the coupe, try splicing the rx7 roofline onto it. It may look better with the shorter, more tapered roofline

 

Thanks, only problem would be finding/replicating that color but I could always make the purple parts a different color, but I'll try it later. This was enough photoshopping for a while.

I like the chops you did with the 2 door shinka, but the roadster version needs a little more refinement. the back end just does not seem right to me
