I simply love this car and am looking foward to buying one in the near future, I am looking into any colors,exept Nordic Green. I would love one with under 30,000 miles with the GT package. I also want the RX8 to have the apearance package on it, so if anyone is looking to sell there GT RX8 with the apearance package in the central California area (I am located in Stockton, California.) leave a reply. I am willing to go 100 miles to get one. Of course it has to be a manual transmission. My price range is up to 22,000 dollars.

 

Hey - I have a brilliant black RX-8 2005 with black/red leather interior. It has grand touring sport package - ground effects, heated seats, GPS Navigation, 6 disc in dash CD, Xenon headlights, perfect interior, 11200 miles, exterior is perfect other than front paint chip on bumper- nothing that stands out.
Brand new this was $36,420. I am selling it at the best offer. (though I'm not desperate) I rarely get to drive it cause I have a wife, a 7 year old, and a 10 month old. A car seat in the back is not real fun for my baby. It's cool when it's boys night out though.

Remember - with private ads you don't pay taxes - so you save quite a bit - even if a dealer is selling one for a little less.

i don't want to hijack but you don't pay taxes on private sale? are you sure that is correct? you may not pay it up front but you'll still have to pay taxes when you go to register your car. it might be different in CA but i didn't want any false expectations. i just bought private party here and uncle sam met me at the DMV.

Have to pay taxes in CA too, when u go to register the car . same as buying from the dealer. the only thing you save on is documentation fees which is not the much anyway.

i have a 2004 Titanium(grey) Rx8 w/ the Grand Touring package (Red/Black interior) also has the full factory kit(front lip/side skirts/rear aero guards/front splash guards) and accent kit (side strakes/ front and rear rotary trims) clear corners and trunk deck lid spoiler.
the car also has Redline full synthetic transmission oil and rear diffential switched in, drop in K&N air filter, Tein S springs, RP supercat, Greddy SP2 and Paul Richard short shifter added. Exterior and interior condition is flawless, it has 25k miles on the odo. Plenty of tread left on the tires and brakes still good.
Mazda upgraded the battery, spark plugs and starter two months ago, so the car starts up like a champ. never had any flooding issues, drives great and driven by mature adult. i love the car but w/ a child on the way i need to get a real family car. i'm selling the car for $21k or $20k w/ stock exhaust, cat and short shifter.
