Show em if you're going to show them. A poll is stupid.

Smile Nice...

May I ask what type of numbers your putting to the ground?
Do you see a drastic decrease in fuel economy?
What did it cost you to drop that in? part + Labour?

Thanks in advance,

this is not my vehicle, but the guys from pettit said they were dyno'ing around 260 whp off of 6-8 psi of boost

the fuel economy drop wasn't too bad, he said he was getting roughly 22mpg driving up to North Carolina from Florida

the kit will cost roughly $4,000 but the advantage as that even the earliest prototype has well over 19,000 miles of FI on it with out a problem.

it will be a bolt on DIY kit so it can be swaped out if need be, so labor is only a factor if you pay to have it put on

they are using the stock air box as a housing. He didn't open it, so i can't tell you really what's inside, but it's no longer OEM

I thought I would here something a bit more impressive then 260whp you can get a greedy to do that for $3100 brand new. I know its a super charger and it has the whole cool factor but the whole point is to make power.

I feel ya. But I guess we have to wait for a dyno to see the differences. Supposedly, this kit offers quite a bit of low end torque.

Also, don't forget, the Greddy kit is a bit more involved as far as install is concerned AND you still have to consider additional parts (BOVs, boost controller, etc). This kit was supposedly built as an easy DIY 'er.

We'll just have to see when it comes out. I'm liking what this kit is offering. I mean the freakin prototype has got 19K on it, without a problem, already. And I'm sure those 19K miles weren't grocery getting miles.
