What is "Speed Pulse"?
Ok, got my J-01 harness in and have been following the information I found in the sticky post for the wiring harness pin-out for RX8. The connector i have is for Protege and all the wires are there on the new harness except for one that is for "Speed Pulse" I don't have a NAV system in my RX-8. What is speed pulse, and do I need this wire for 2006 RX8 w/ no NAV and the basic radio system (non-Bose). Any info appreciated.

It's one of the wires on the pin out of the stock harness - you may have to splice into it on the car side instead of the radio side
