Ferrari 360 Modena F1 today. Gorgeous and fast! Light blue metallic with tan interior

My grad school study buddy, Trinh, bought her husband this car as a surprise birthday gift!

The very cool story behind it: When Darren, her husband, was a teenager and loved cars, his dad took him to a Ferrari dealership and they looked around and drooled , and then they took a test drive and were in heaven.

By no means could Darren's dad afford a car like that, but he loved them. He told Darren that he hoped that Darren would do well enough in school and life so that if he wanted to, he could afford a car like that someday.

Darren turned 35 right after my fiance, Randy, died last summer. Darren and Trinh loved Randy and were really shaken up when he died. Trinh said "Life is so short - we need to live and have fun now, so I'm buying Darren his dream car for his birthday". She set up a surprise with the dealer and it was amazing! Darren was SHOCKED

The best part was when Darren's dad came to town and Darren surprized him. It was so awesome for his dad to be able to see their dream come true. Sniff...

 

Why not a F430? hmm...

 

Because the 360 is pure sex on wheels.

It's also the most beautiful ferrari ever created.

The same philosophy to a point got me my 8. I could of got a Mazda 3 or 6 easily and been praticle but said "I'm young and life is short screw it!".

Darren and I shed some tears as he drove me around today, and then he put his foot in it and we grinned like crazy cuz Randy would have LOVED it
