Recall letters are out
Got my recall letter in the mail today. Actually got two envelopes, 1st labeled Important Emission Recall Notice which included recall notice as well as a form for reimbursement request for any repairs which were previously paid for relating to
this recall. 2nd letter was labeled Important Notice and contained letter explaining the extended warranty as well as a new page to be added to the owners manual. It also included a reimbursement form for powertrain repairs which were performed and paid for before warranty was extended. Zoom 44 has posted copies of these letters for your review. I only live a few miles from where these letters were mailed so everyone in the hot areas should be getting their letters soon! Dont have to wait for your letters to make an apointment at your local dealer.

Yes I just recieved mine today,,two sets (4),one for the "Warranty Exstension" and one for the "Emission recall".
They sent me both letters for the RX-8 we traded in last May and letters for the one we have now.
I'll send the "Information Change Card" card back with "sold/traded" in on it.

I haven't gotten anything here (Maine). Are they starting with the most affected markets first? (I think I read that somewhere) If I need the new battery/starter, I want to get it done before winter.
