Finally Bought A Car

After months of debate and test drives I finally decided on a car. A 2006 Infiniti FX35 black/cream with navigation/bose/20'' inch rims/rear entertainment tv. I leased it for $1000 down and $330 a month. I loved the RX-8 and it drove amazing but I am moving to Colorado and need 4wd. Have any of you guys ever driven one or owned one. How do you like them. Thanks.

nice car.. a friend of mine has a 04 fx35, similar set up and he likes it a lot... not the roomiest of SUV types, but it gets the job done i guess.. I am thinking about trading my g35 in for a fx, but i hear the design is going to change soon, so might wait on it... that lease deal you got seems very good though

I like that car. Whenever I see one it sound like it's got some aftermarket exhaust/intake.

I like it... but theyre more common than camry's and accords in NYC.. the exhuast gets annoying because you hear them every 5 seconds..

You do not need 4wd. You DO need snow tires. Although I have always liked the FX, style, interior performance. I loved the infiniti I had.

I seriously doubt the FX will perform as a decent 4wd by the way. 20" performance tires are nothing but snow skis.

The 8 has done great in the snow for me. As long as you have snow tires.

If you really NEED 4wd, as in "my driveway has 30 inch ruts, logs and giant rocks" you'd be better off with an FJ cruiser, Xterra, jeep, pathfinder. I'd doubt you'd take a lease car into that terrain though.

Enjoy the FX, The interior is much roomier. 4 real doors. Nice DVD for kids

Those are nice rides. Very luxurious SUVs. My Uncle has one and I have to agree that they are very nice.

The FX is nice. I drove the 35 as a rental (they had to give me it as they had literally nothing else) and it was def a fun SUV to drive. Personally I love the exhaust note.

Wouldn't be my choice (hell, an SUV wouldn't be my choice) but I understand why you'll need one. Enjoy it!

Did you consider Mazda CX-7 at all? I don't intend to ever get an SUV, but I'm just curious how those two compare...

I've always liked the FXs. They are definitely one of the sportiest SUVs. Well at least you won't be shocked at the mileage--it'll be even less than the thirsty RX-8!

the lease deal is $330 a month with $995 down $3000 total due at signing for 2 years...it was a lease special for an entire month for a new infiniti dealership that opened by me...i had an order on an 06 g35 coupe base model only option was 18" wheels and it would have been around 270 a month with the same money down ...but i needed awd...both the g35 and fx35 awd base models could of been had at $258 a month with 995 down ...the deal was crazy i couldnt believe it myself....the final sticker on my car was $49k so $330 a month with only $1000 is a great deal
