So what do you guys think?? I really didnt like the Mazda Emblem, so i took off but i had to fill in the 3 holes... soooooooooooo I decided to move the Rx-8 from the right over to the left...

looks a lil weird. think it's too far to the left.

 

fishing line, with a little coat of wax on it, and then i used bug/tar remover to remove the gummy/sticky residue.

it was the only way i could place the emblem and cover up the 3 odd holes.

 

I see. So you were able to attach the RX-8 emblem just like that, or did you use something sticky? Yea, stupid question.

no i had an extra emblem in the glove box when i bought the car. thought i would use it.

Bug and Tar removal was made for cars, so i know that's ok. but be careful with GOO-GONe, i heard that can eat away at the clear coat.

 

Yes, That's great. The mazda label is the same on every Mazda model, so thats not for me.
My first idea was the same as yours, but I did this (pic), instead of that.

Looks good I remember a while back pulling the Mazda badge off and being bummed that it had holes behind it. If they use double sided tape on RX-8 why can't they with the Mazda logos?

I shaved the pins on the front emblem and using moulding tape before reapplying it. Wanted to have the option of taking it off without filling holes.

probably MNAO could give a rats a....if we took off the "rx8" piece but they want us to keep the mazda on!!
