My mirrors are finally shaking!

So after a long haitus of having no bass in the car, I finally decided to put a pair of 10" subs in the trunk. I think my taste in loud bass has declined over the years but its definitely nice to have a little bump in the trunk. I think the install went well and it looks really clean. I chose probably the "low end" of the high end stuff since I don't blast it as loud as I used to.

Car Audio Outlaw in Modesto installed the system for me. I'm definitely going to take my car back to them to have more stuff put in later in the future. Let me know what you guys and gals think.

The trunk does rattle a little bit...but I'm sure if I crank it up more, I'll definitely be worse. I was thinking of dynamatting at least the trunk area but I'm not sure yet. The only plus side that I see with our cars and putting in bass in the trunk is that the license plate and license plate frame isn't on the actual lid of the trunk!! So no more of that annoying buzzing metal sound!

Dynamatting not too bad. It only took me about 4 hours to do the entire trunk and I put 2 sheets of extremeliner in the recess/floor where I keep my amp (for heat purposes) has made a pretty big difference in both rattles and heat.....

Good luck -

Looks nice. The rattling mirrors can get a bit annoying though. Can't see ****, especially if I'm listening to local Bay Area hip hop.

A long time ago, the rattling mirrors was a pain in the ***. But then I went almost two years without any bass...so seeing these mirrors move the way they do is almost a relief...hehe.

if the outside mirrors are rattling and making noise like mine did you can take them apart and support them with some dynomat.

It worked for me

Nice dude, looks very slick.

I've been without an in-car system for about 3 years now but I distinctly remember the vibrating side/rear-view mirrors. I actually got used to it and it didn't bother me, visually. If they had made noise, however, I would have definitely dynamatted.
