Image Motorsports has Shannonville Long/Pro track on August 7 from 9AM-5PM, its open track, you drive when and how you want, price is $160.00 no helmet required. We will be attending this day to use a test day for the race car.

Kensai Racing has the big track at Mosport from 9AM-5PM, price is $300.00, there will be 2 run groups, Intermediate and Advanced. Each group will get 25 minutes per session, and passing is restricted in the Intermediate group.

^ yeah the image motorsport day is pretty much go on and off as you want, which is good because you get a LOT of runtime in.

Its pretty organized and most of the people there are respectful enough to not try to cut you thru corners and stuff, they only do that amongst their own peer group once in a while, so you should have no worries. I ran with them last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, except for the torrential downpour of rain, it was fantacular.


If anyone is goin to the mosport day, i might see you guys there.

I don't remember seeing you out yet this season 84. Have you made any races yet? I didn't see you at shannoville this weekend.

 

We ran at Mosport on the July 1st weekend regional race and started dead last in race 2 and finished 12th, then finished 8th in race 3. We also ran a solo 1 at Shannonville. We are having fuel pressure issues, and I need the Image day to have a good test day. I like those days because we can run when we need to with no restrictions, we dont get caught behind cars because we are allowed to pass them. Also the price of $160.00 is very attractive

 

Just to let you guys know Toronto Prelude Club is running track school/day at Mosport Driver's Development Track on Sunday, August 13.
Ian Law is running the school

School (includes track) = $250
Track (Guest) = $160
Track (Members) = Go check out the members section
Lunch is provided too
This is open to non-prelude drivers as they are having trouble filling their spots.

I have already signed up and paid for the driving school.

As far as I know they still have room for the lapping only, I think the school might be full, I'm not 100% on that though.

I'd love it if I wasn't the only RX8 there ha ha
