i was preorder too and was one of the first to get my car. but in order to get custom plates u need to wait for your generic plates to be mailed

Thats my blue RX-8 with the plates. Bought 7/14 and got my regular plates 8/14. My personalized plates had been sitting at the DMV for over 3 months. Just took in the generic plates and
exchanged for the personalized ones.

The carbon fiber piece was on the mazdatrix car. Looks like they bought a sheet of carbon fiber and custom cut it to fit. I like it that's why I wanted to post it for everyone to see.
To answer question the dealer already had tint on my 8. They did dark on back window and two side smaller windows and the passenger and driverside window medium.

It is a custom molded (male and female molds) 2 layer real carbon fiber "over-lay" piece.
IT was the first part out of the molds late Friday afternoon!
More interior pieces will follow.
