Two high revving toys

Hi. I've just introduced myself in the proper thread, so I post here a couple of pics of my high-revving toys. The story behind is in my presentation.

Nice bike. A short ride in one exactly like yours (down to the color) made me trade my Ducati for the Gixxer. I am sure you understand that high-reving, lower torque engines produce a special kind of pleasure.

NgoRX8, Moostafa29, Mikelikes2drive: If you allow me a bit of advise: riding bikes is risky, but risk can be managed. Get one!. If lacking experience, get an MSF course and learn with a small capacity one (250 cc to 500 cc). After getting proficient for that level, get whatever match your style and needs. In my case, a supersport middleweight (600cc, 170 kg, 120 HP, 16.000 rpm; already too much for most people). It is a perfect match for the 8.

^^ word, I just attended a funeral today. One of my friends just past away from a bike accident, he was 19. He was a novice rider, 2 months. He went out the way he would wanted to though, doing something he loves. Sorry to put a killjoy to this thread, but bikes are VERY risky.

Congrats on the bike... ride safe.

I lost me eye to a motorcycle....nah jk.....but I did get into a pretty big crash a few years back and haven't been on a bike since....just to much risk and I would advise 99% of people to stay away from them ...only a select few should ever really ride...

((BTW accident was caused going over a hill and having the driver in the other lane not paying attention....happened at 45 mph))

Sad to hear about your friend passing away, especially being so young. My condolencies.

At 43, 2 daughters and a mortgage, I can not afford NOT to ride safe.

Jose

pretty much if you crash ya better just make it a DOA....cause anything else would break the bank ..ya my buddy just crashed his yesterday...may have some broken back bones and a puncterd lung ...happen right in front of work. hit a patch of dirt at 30mph in a gradual turn and that was all she wrote....just got the bike like 3 weeks ago...had plenty bike experiance. but bikes give ya no room for error....sucks...cause now Im gonna have to work alot of overtime cause to cover his ***!!! hahaha

I'd love a bike, but my friend and his wife who's a nurse, would litterally wrestle me to the ground, sell it on the spot, and beat me for good measure. Oh well. I'm sure my girlfriend would help them too...
