So the RX7 guys are going to have a meet @ Peter's Drive-In on July 16th @ 2:00. After which there is a drive out to Cochrane. Seeing as we can't seem to get our **** together in regards to a meet, I thought this might be a good excuse to get everyone out.

Meet location changed (and finalized) to Bowness Park at 2pm with the option of a cochrane cruise for those interested. Where at the park will be picked by the first ones there to secure a suitable location, likely on the north side by the river. This is the first of a hopeful casual monthly meet. Nice if enough of the gang got to know each other well enough so we could even meet inside for coffee (Dennys?) in the boring months of winter.

Yep, crowd is tough to please. But the RX8's came to this location last year also. There is a nice one jsut up the street from me in Hidden Valley NW

Man, I've been wanting to come to a meet forever! But too bad I've planned a trip to Penticton that weekend. What luck eh? Damn.

Yea, I think I'm in ... love to see some old school 7s. I keep seeing one rx7 in my area ... wonder if he's part of the group.

^^ the 7 that I've seen is a 2nd generation (??) ... bright red (looks like a custom paint job .. almost like VR) and some nice rims. Don't know much about mods as I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to 7's but looks stock to me. Oh in the NE area. And almost looks like the pic that you posted but color looked brighter (not sure) ... so it could have been you 84stock

 

Is the the fact that this is the last day of stampede an issue for many??? I know I used to book holidays to be away during stampede myself. We only have 5 maybe's and 3 yes for sure and risk tying up sunday afternoon for a 5 car mini meet. It is disappointing to have so many ask for regular meets and to "start a club" and then see so little support. Would Sunday July 23 be better for you guys?? Some immediate response would be appreciated if we are to change dates.

so i was the lone rx8 at the meet ... was pretty cool to see the rx7s. It was good to find out that the legacy of low torque and poor gas mileage lives on with us! Yes!
