604 Area, Help for Wedding Requested

Hi again, I am currently no longer in the 604 area, but am still having my wedding in Vancouver. I had previously asked for any help I can get from fellow RX-8ers with some cars to help drive the wedding party in a processional.
Now, this is on August 12th, which unfortunately lands on the same day as Mazda Madness now, but I only plan on getting married once, and I would truly appreciate any help that can be given to help make this day even more memorable.

Reason why I am no longer in the 604 area, is that my Mom is battling stage 4 Lung Cancer, and I wish to spend as much time as possible with her as I can, so I am now in the Shuswap area.

I had previously offered that any one who helps with the processional drive that is willing to, I am going to try to ensure I have enough seats available for them to join us for dinner at our reception.

If anyone is able and interested in helping make this an even more special occasion, the help is appreciated, just leave me a post here, or a pm, I will respond on weekends since I now am working a lot more than before while out here.
Thank you for the help in advance
Andrew

Well, would like to get together a little earlier if people are willing to get the little fluffy things attached to the cars, but otherwise, just help around the time of the ceremony, a few pics with the cars, and just a small drive with the wedding party to get to the next destination, either an area for pictures, or the reception, whichever is possible.

Well, so far, I definitely have to thank Eldon for volunteering immediately, maybe we will get a chance to do a small Whistler drive when I am up for this as well, would be nice, but, have to pay for wedding, and possible transportation if I cant find enough help, but, I am still crossing my fingers in hopes of enough drivers and cars to help with the wedding party.
For those who might volunteer to help with this in the next week, thank you in advance, since I am working elsewhere during the week, and have no internet access.

Well, after the huge response a few months back with offers for help, I need to thank Jowett, Rohit, and Eldon for the support they are giving me in this help, it is appreciated, wish I could still get more 8s out for this, especially since it is only 2 weeks away. If I have to, I may have to contact friends to see if they know anyone with nice cars or trucks to help out then.

Well, I tried calling Jowett tonight, no answer, so I will try to call him again tomorrow, but so far we will be meeting at a friends place which is just off Canada Way, and Burris in Burnaby, to decorate the cars which are allowed to be decorated, then driving to the church for the ceremony then off for pics, then dinner, so, if anyone else would like to come and join us, give me a call or by email, drewdp@hotmail.com or 250-804-1764, Thank You
Andrew

Hey.

Sorry I missed your call. I was sleeping on the couch - I somehow managed to get a cold/ the flu in summer ...

Anyways, i'm still in. I'll be taking the ferry Friday to the mainland.

If you don't reply here, I'll give you a call in a day or 2 to confirm.

Wish to give a big thanks to Jowett who came from Victoria to help on this day, and Eldon who drove the maid of honor, the help was amazing, and I will definitely send you the address to the pics when we get them from the photographer.
And Eldon, you missed decorating Jowett's car, it wasnt easy with the wax, hehehe

hey! glad i could help out on your special day! it was fun - except for all the sitting around waiting for you guys to get ready. should have brought a magazine or a Nintendo DS to keep myself busy.

i left my camera at home dammit so i didn't get any shots of the RX8's decked out in streamers and decorations ... and the ONE picture i took with my camera phone didn't save to memory!

congrats again!

PS i'll wax your car for you as your wedding present

Hey Andrew!
You know if I was in the counrty I'd be the first one to sign up (if you don't mind a bullet hole riddled car showing up at your wedding that is! LOL I couldn't get myself to be stranded for 3 days without my 8 whle I was on holiday back in feb to get it fixed..)
Anyway, hey post some pictures! Show the others what fun they missed out on all these 8s gatherings :p
sigh the only thing I have now is the dvd Eldon made of our drive!
