Calling all Shinka owners out there.

Am told that Shinkas ride higher than other Rx-8 models.

Is this true? And if so, how do Shinkas handle relative to other Rx-8s?

Handles awesome. Have no clue if its higher though. It pretty low to me.

Really!! Mine rides great. Felt no difference to the 04 MT I test drove at the dealers. On the MAZDA website for the Shinka, it does say we have a little bit different suspension. I don't know what's different though. I'll try to find the tread.

 

Brought it down to the alignment/geometry specialist

he made sure it was on level ground and measured the space from the wheel arch lip to the ground.

measurement were approx. 700 to 704 mm all around...

I remember reading some other thread here posted by non-shinka driver.

his highest measurement which was at the rear of his car came up to 693mm at the most...
