NEW Jaz wheels for my 8!

I have been searching for months and months for classy wheels for the 8. I am finally going to settle for these.

Jaz Ver-one 19"x 9.5R 19" x 8.5F

Or the Jaz Triumphs. Same spec as the Ver -One's

The hardest part is deciding on which style of rim i want. When i had the guy put both rims up to my silver 8, they both look beautiful in apearance! I have till Friday to make up my mind.......

Any input from you guys?

I Think The Jazz Triumphs Look Better. They Would Definitely Be The Ones I Would Get.

Don't really like either one, but the first ones look better out of the 2.

I like the first wheel too, put up against the 8, it looks really sharp. Its very euro spec to me which is the look i am going after. The owner of the shop has the Ver -ones on his 911, and they look great!

Here they are on a BMW 3 series.

That 3" lip is going to look sick on the rx-8!

I think those would look fine on the 8, heck it's your car so if you like it why not?

You're looking to staggered?

Seems like the norm on this forum is to go staggered, but i am not sure if i want to go that way totally. Is it possible to have a 3" lip up front on the RX-8? If not then the staggered look is my only way to go.

As was said, definitely check the offsets. This car didn't come staggered for a reason. Keeping balanced tread front and rear will keep the car more neutral. I guess it also depends on what you do with your car, autocross, daily driver, hpde, etc...

My car is going to be a daily driver, i also heard rumors that a staggered setup causes understeer? Is this true?So the higher the number ex: 40 offset, does this meen that the wheel would be closer to the outside fender, or would the inner rim be closer to the hub?

I want a look where the outer lip is about .25-.5"" away from the outside wheel well because i want to do a conservative drop as well. Masdaspeed springs drop the 8 by .8" and Racing Beat springs drop the 8 by .5". My goal is for a clean street look.

Did research, and i am going to with a 9.5" in the front and back. No need for the staggered look, i am not going to be in any racing events no time soon. I'll probally run a 245/40 or a 255/30, depending on price. I would hate to give up that neutral feel, just for looks.

9.5 All around? Hmmm I don't think I have seen that around here yet.

Good to hear. And yeah, you would be promoting understeer by going with a more narrow tire in the front and wider in the rear. Though you could probably tune some of it out with an adjustable suspension. But imo, why go through the hassle when you can just keep the tires neutral?

A lot of forum members that spend time in the Competition section have been running this 9.5" setup front and rear.
