Hey guys, my black RX-8 is in need of a license plate frame but I can't make up my mind...How do these look?

1. Chrome



2. Dark Chrome



3. Black Plastic



4. None

 

Personally, I think it's a bit redundant. You've already got the same logo a foot away on the trunk lid. However, I will share this experience with you. The dealer I bought my car from used METAL plate frames to tout their dealership on my car. By the time I got my license plate, 3 weeks later, the metal frame had rubbed 2 spots into my bumper where the screws pulled it down. Not a HUGE deal, but I was still a bit miffed that they put that crap on there for free advertising without any forethought to the damage a metal frame could do. I had assumed it was plastic and would've yanked off on the first day had I known.

 

Just use a plain black one (no logo) for now.

Hopefully in the near future , the www.RX-8Club.com frames will be available.
