Question HID's LED's?

I looked on www.mazdatrix.com and www.mazdaparts.com but cant find them. I want to know what the main differance is with HID's Vs. LED's? Should I just order them from my local dealer?. I kinda want something brighter. Kinda like the BMW look.
Help please

Yes.

If you buy the stock HID headlamp you can swap it out and it will work. It will not auto level, which means, once you level it yourself....it stays that way. ---That's perfectly fine with projectors.

Don't worry, it's not legal but neither is a retro-fit. The fact is that any HID light in the US must be self leveling.

Buy the stock HID head lights on ebay for about 4-500 and be done.

A retrofit will run you around 300 on ebay, however I would recommend just getting the real HID head lights because the OEM ballast are much better than most of the retro kits out there.

Any ?'s
Guess thats the info I was looking for. Kinda. But this guys telling us its better to go OEM?

Yup, that's what I'm saying.

The OEM setup is very good and much easier to install. It's nearly plug and play. You will have to use your own connectors because the halogen system uses two wires while the HID system uses three. But other than that it can be done in under a hour if you know what you're doing.

^ yup, thats what i did. although be careful buying it on ebay though. the HID headlights i bought off ebay had dust inside the lens, and one of the HID bulb was missing. i bought the pair of headlight for 534 total, and end up spending another 210 at the dealer for a bulb.
