I'm looking for a GT, I have not decided on color, sunroof is okay, are there any dealers in the Southern Onatrio area that have a GT available.

I know most RX-8 that are being delivered are already spoken for by pre-orders, hopefully not all.

Roadrunner....have you tried calling some of the GTA dealers to see what they have available?

 

Hello roadrunner. We have just been allocated another rx-8. It is a Titanium GT, 6spd, leather with the sunroof. We have been told that it will be built in Sept, for us to have it by November. If you have any questions let me know here and i can pass on our 1-800 number to chat with you more in person if interested.

 

I was at Burlington mazda last night and they told me that they are getting one unallocated RX-8 in november.

No other details.

We just got a call from our dealer in Toronto that our Titanium 6spd GT with sunroof and tan leather is ready to be picked up. We ordered it in Feb. and now are not sure if we want to keep it, having just bought a new house! If you are interested in this for immediate delivery please let me know and maybe we could work something out.

 

Thanks for the input, I found several dealers with demo units, took some test drives, very impressed with the RX-8. I was able to see all the colours & interiors avalable.

I located a Dealer in Woodstock with a Titanium GT 6SP with moonroof that is in port and not spoken for.....Down went the deposit....it could be a long couple of weeks.

I was also told by the dealer in Brantford that they received a new allocation yesterday for a RX-8 OCT build with Nov/Dec delivery.

 

So..... what happened to ALL 700 are SOLD!

Seems like people can STILL walk up and get a car, they may have to wait a few weeks but that's no biggie.

Really the "shortage" was most defintely all hype.

Heck I decided to buy the car ummm 2 days before I picked it up!

 

And unless they've sold them this week, I know know of at least 4 RX-8s sitting in showrooms around Nova Scotia.

Good thing I preordered my Silver in Febuary. Otherwise I would have had to drive at least 25 minutes to pick one up!
