I have not seen any pics of the winning blue with the package, I have seen black and red. I am trying to decide if I want this on my car before i order.

I've got the Winning blue 6spd GT/ NO appearance package.. I'd say it's up to you if you want the look or not.. and to pay for it. I plan on buying a clean looking aftermarket kit once available. So basically depends on what you want later on IMO

 

My green has the appearance package and spoiler, but I can't say I've seen a blue with them. I'm sure it looks amazing though.

The green is almost as dark as the black!! I would have thought the green would be more like an Acura green..

I haven't had a chance to the see the blue in person. I have only seen the black, yellow and red. The red is nice in the sunlight as well. I like the two tone leather. Too bad the blue only comes in black.

as long as you see the blue in person before you make a decision.


Can you tell we love our blue. In fact we fell in love with the yellow and then a week after buying the yellow we saw the blue and had to have it! I know what your thinking, and yes, it is worth the debt.

Well that was all I was waiting for... Since you don't seem to mind debt do you think you could buy another for me

Seriously, I recently made up my mind that the 8 was the car I wanted, now I am having a terrible time deciding on the color I want, first it is the titanium, then the red, now it is between the blue and green. Tomorrow there will be another leading contender... I do promise though that I will see both in person before I make a decision.

How much does your color change in different light?

I know what you mean...all the mazda colors are very awesome, so whatever choice you make will be great.

Well, the color does not change to much in and out of light. In direct sunlight it is very metallic and a little lighter. In the shade ..or out of direct sunlight it is very deep and rich. If you have seen the 350Z and like it, then you will love the mazda blue...much better. BTW you must have the appearence package. IT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!:D

 

The orginal idea was to see if I liked the appearence package in the lighter colors. For some reason I could not see it in my head. Now that I have seen yours I am sold on the AP, and the blue is rapidly moving into first place...

I just realized you have the wing on both as well, damn one more thing I want to add to increase the price.

 

Is it me, or does the yellow seem too show the suicide entrance a lot more and the blue hides it? I am seeing that in the yellow, the awkwardness from the back seat shows up a little bit more?

 

Very nice indeed. All personal preference of course but I would get rid of the moonroof deflectors!!!!

 

You will want the blue if you see it in person. I'm serious, that's normally about my last choice of color in a car, but in person it is absolutely stunning on the 8.

I like the look of the deflector, but it is also functional. I don't particularly want the wind blowing through my hair when the roof is open.

 

Yes the yellow does indeed show the suicide door more. It shows everything more including dirt, but I still like it.

As for Brothervoodoo's comment on the moonroof deflector. That is you opinion and I respect that. And my opinion is you don't have good taste!
