I bought a 2005 Shinka today. It had 1200 miles on it. It is like new. But when I got home and took my wife on a joy ride and got on the brakes hard it pulled hard to the left at the end. Does yours do that? It doesnt do it under normal braking.
Otherwise it's real fun to drive.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the car may have some defects, and that's why it was brought back.. man, whatever happened to test drives? Do they even let you do that anymore?

Take it to a trustworthy mechanic.. it sounds like a classic case of the caliper. This may be that one nagging little thing, or there may be something else wrong with it. Get it checked over.. couldn't hurt!

It's normal to get wheel feedback under hard braking at low speeds. If it doesn't pull left every time, I wouldn't worry about it... it was probably just an uneven road. If it keeps happening, take it to the dealer.

I have noticed a similar pull when hard braking in my new 06 BB 8 with 500 miles. It seems to pull in both directions, left and right, on uneven roads or when I am turning during hard braking, but straight as an arrow on smooth surfaces. This seems normal to me due to the large tires and many uneven roads in the northeast.

Way to highjack the Thread.. and why would you be slamming on the brakes.. or "braking hard" when you first bought it.. way to Run down the brake pads and tires early..
