Meeting up in the back of the lot that faces the movie theater at yorkdale mall at 12:30pm. Cruising to the docks will commence at 1:30pm.

 

Hmm, how come it's so difficult to get things stickyed on the RX-8 forum??? I asked for a sitkcy for the Ottawa cruise and no one noticed???

The cruise of the year is on the long weekend!! You don't want to miss that cruise. Lots of people showed up this past meet and were wondering if we were going to cruise somewhere. Well, here's your chance!! Somebody please sticky the Ottawa cruise thread!!!

We can do a local mini-cruise somewhere in the T.O. region for the 27th weekend. I don't know if many people can take so many cruises so close together.

Forgot to mention, the May14th weekend is also the big swap meet happening at Mosport!! There will be lots of good racing and I think (don't quote me on it) a big parade lap around Mosport for anyone showing up in a rotary car!!

On the 27th I'll be landscaping, but I'll be glad to lead a cruise throughout my fav. Halton motorcycling roads in June or July. Nothing but hills, curves and nature...and few patrols.

The parade lap happens on Sunday around noon hour. You have to meet at least an hour or so ahead of schedule to receive your wrist band to attend the parade lap.

The gang will be hanging out on the inside field at turn 8 (the esses just before the start/finish straight).

Tried to get in, they were going to charge us $15 bucks and we only like 15 mins before we had to go back to the DDT so we didn't come in, how was the swap meet?

 

Yeah, if you didn't print out the tickets to get in they would have to charge you $15.
15min's wouldn't have been enough anyways. We were on the track by 12:15ish. We lapped till about 12:50ish.

Mostly people from the RX-7 forum. Not a single RX-8 owner showed up.

I hope to see a few RX-8 owners this weekend for the Ottawa cruise!

I'm with helas. We should meet up some where on Sunday and cruise down to the docks together. Is anyone against changing the date to the 28th??? If so, then we can do it another time. Otherwise, let's do this guys(weather permitting)!!! If it's hot, you won't regret it!!!

 

The Docks is the place to be on a hot summers day!!

 

Also, There's a great opportunity to have an rx club picture with a nice city view in the background. It's on one of those side streets just near the docks.
