yea it looks real bad on the 350Z, i'd like to see what it looks like on an RX-8...might be too big though, but i'd like something to that effect...

No, I think a wing with only one mounting point is just hideous... it looks like it should be a glider :p

Two mounting points, elegant and sporty... I like the lip spoiler on the RX-8 best personally. Just a little flair is all I would need.

To be honest though, with a black car, you don't even need the lip spoiler.

I agree... and whats wrong with rice anyway? It either adds performance or represents experimentation and in a few cases can look awesome. It also supports the industry so why not.

Anyway... this spoiler looks abit unstable. if some punk comes along and pushes on a side, what would happen?

 

Sorry.....think it's a bad choice! Justa regular spoiler like on the appearance package looks best! But...different strokes for different folks!

naw it's not that i liked it to begin with...i'm shopping around for a wing and that one caught my eye for a variety of reasons...i think it looks horrendous on the 350Z which i feel is limited to a lip spoiler at most...i just wanted to see what it would look like on an RX-8...when i saw it, it's far too big and high for my tastes...also, the big box that attaches the wing to the car is just far too big...

so no, i don't really like it...but it sure is different...i've never seen one with only 1 pillar holding it up...i like the style and if it wasn't so darn big and tall, i'd be more interested

i think, however, that those real big wings are the current trend in Japan...just take a look at these:











this current trend is worrying me...since what most of the world considers "RICE" now will soon become a standard later, perhaps all sports cars in 5-10 years will be sporting 10' tall wings like these???

 

Yipes good point... I would hate to see all the Japanese cars come out 'factory riced.'

Personally I think if the Japanese car companies just keep their cars understated, elegant and sporty, and AFFORDABLE, you can modify them to look any way you want to afterwards.

This way it doesn't alienate the buyers (me) that enjoy the car bone stock. At least in the case of the RX-8, and 350Z
