Interceptor and High elevations FYI
I’m at 5000 feet elevation and there were some concerns about the altitude and the turbo.
These are my findings, The car started right up, no missing no backfire no hard start. I drove it for a week in the Arizona crazy weather hot in the day cold at night. I drove it in town and on the highway. I drove it to Tucson (lower elevation) and no problems there. I have the O2 sensor upgrade and by reading my AFR I found I’m at 11.5 – 13 in the higher altitudes ( I found out the Higher altitude acts like an octane booster because of the lack of oxygen, or something like that, pilots aren’t the best at explaining things) in Tucson I’m at 11.00 – 11.75 AFR. Something I was not expecting was my fuel mileage to improve. If I don’t get stupid and drive normal I save a significant amount of fuel on the high way, in town it’s about the same. My car idles better now than before I put the turbo on. The acceleration is unreal; I’m used to an oxygen starved car, now Zoom Zoom. Mazsport you guys are the ****. All this straight out of the box, I will be tuning soon, but for now Damn.

For each 1000 feet of altitude the atmospheric pressure will drop by a little less than 1 PSI. An engine that might require 93 Octane at sea level may perform at maximum on a fuel rated at 91 Octane if the elevation is over say 1000 feet.

I would still recommend taking it to the tuner. They can adjust for your region, and try to get your AFR as close as possible while not physically in your location.
Also, they can make two maps for you. One for when your up in the mountains, and one for when you are down low again.
Also, just becuase your AFR is better than a Mustand or Acura, doesnt mean its acceptable for your setup. Like i said earlier... 13 AFR is dangerously lean for a turbo car.

or you need to recalibrate your wideband for the altitude. my old one read a full point leaner at sea level, compared to 4500 ft--where it was calibrated.
Glad to hear things are going well Daver! AFR's under WOT should be in the low/mid 11's for street tuning. AFR's in the 13's during cruise or during manifold vac./light throttle operation should be safe AFR's. BTW Be careful with the cowbell under boost, you could drop your cowbell.

and the cow bell is atached with Cusco clamps
