Saw one that was sold @ Kramer mazda in calgary, is that by someone here?
Im going to start negociating the price next week and wondering if anyone know what the invoice of that car is or what ppl paid for it

 

I don't know SE, but 2006 GT MSRP is 40295 Invoice 36991. SE should be something similar - 3300 spread.

 

ive a deposit on one waiting on the lot until my dad gets back and signs since its goona be in his name for cheaper insurance , its sticker price is 42000 , thats the only one here in windsor and they are not getting any other ones soon

 

The invoice is 38k with change. They are making around 3400 in profit. Not a big markup. Not much room to work with. I think getting 2% over invoice is the most you will get at this time, which is around 2400 off.

 

Thanks for the info, I'm going to aim for $41,500 + Tax.. so ~ $2000 off. hopefully it wont be a problem, I've been to all the dealers and that all have at least 2 on the lots and only 1 out of 7 SE has a "SOLD" sign on it.

 

I don't think you can get around the $41,500 mark for the SE. I have a friend working at northhill mazda and he told me there was another friend of his trying to get the SE. But he can barely give much discount to that guy. I forgot the reason why or what the price gave out (or the manager gave out) though. But you never know. Let me know if you get the deal done.

 

Just picked up my SE on Friday. Pretty nice vehicle.

From my dealings, getting 2000 off wasn't that difficult. So, the sticker being 42045, you should pay 40000, plus freight/pdi 1195, gas tax 250 (can you believe auto is 75?), 100 air tax.

I have them put in the spoiler and the aluminum fuel door, the satin look (matches the wheels really nice). I think chrome would've been an overkill.

To complete the look, I'm getting formula one ceramic tint put on her on Saturday.

My impression is that they are not selling all that great. They might sell one and then it takes them months to unload of the other one. Most dealers have two or three SEs.
