Unhappy recall on cat converter?

after driving my 8 for about an hour (it has 10kmiles) i feel loss of power (rpm gauge moves up slowly). The engine and tranny are excessibly hot but cooling temp. on gauge is less than half. I feel that the catalitic converter gets cloaged while driving more than 20 miles. Please advice what to do? Am I on the right track? or should I take it to dealer for check-up?

Go to to the steepest hill you can find. If you can't go ver 45mph it's clogged or your hill isn't long enough or steep enough to test it.

There hasn't been a recall as far as I know. My car has had 3 cat converters replaced so far. If it is a problem, you will find the car is running sluggish and will get a CEL.

My cat was wasted, and my car showed no CEL.

why would there be a recall on the cat? Its federally mandated that its warranted for 100k miles...

"...fix coming" ???
I just crossed the magic 50k mile line. No more warrenty for me. Would this "fix" be of the no-warranty-needed recall variety?

There is a longer (federal required) warrenty on emissions related systems.

You may want to start a completely new thread for this. Otherwise it may not get noticed. I haven't seen this discussed before.
