I was wondering what would happen if we replaced the stock DBW Thottle Body with a standard mechancial TB.

I know we would lose cruise control, but would the interceptor have any issue with this? Don't the race cars with the renesis use a mechancial TB?

would the computer through a full out fit without the TB?

 

I would think the ECU would pitch a fit. It's still looking for some sort of signial off of the TB position sensor.
Any mechancial TB can be used provided a sensor sending the required data to the ECU.

But you probally already knew this..
