Potential April 16 meet (Colorado)

Hello all,

I am new to the world of rotorary (i just bought my RX8 last night, an '05 Black on Black) , and was wondering if anyone would be interested in an impromptue meet this Sunday the 16th?
We could meet at a central location, say north Colorado Springs, then head down 115 to Cayon City, then over to Salida, up to Buena Vista, across South Park, then back over Wilkerson Pass into Woodland Park.
If anyone from up north, i.e. Fort Collins, Denver...wants to come, that would be great! The more the merrier.

Any takers, and time recommendations?????

Welcome aboard Darksyde!
I'm located up north and was planning a trip down that way the following weekend.

Thanks. I'm glad to be here.

Shoot me a line when you plan on coming down. Maybe we can meet up or something?

gotrotary - that might be a possibility. It all depends on the response to this thread. If we can get enough people for the southern route, we'll most likely do that this time. But I am definitely up for other locations as well!!! As long as I'm drivin' I don't really care where I go

Sorry I'm going fishing but I would like to drive to Brek this summer up 24 through Southpark.

If you plan another drive let me know!

I had a feeling to call in to work and request the weekend off. I'm freakin so down! A long drive i've never done.
I would have to be done by 6 so we should plan it for kinda early

Denver and would do, but not this weekend - too many family things going on over easter. Keep driving the meets though. Good idea.

I'll keep everyone in mind for the next time. I always have weekends off, so whenever works for me. I'm pretty flexible about when and where I drive.
I'll take some pics this weekend though and try to post them after the drive.

When you want to do a meet think about one of these ideas for a drive. Walden sounds good.

Oh yea... anyone have any suggestions for dates? Maybe we could all meet at Ted's Place, (US287 & Colo14 - Poudre Canyon), and head up to Walden from there. If we're going to do a weekend, I'd suggest before Memorial Day, as the traffic over Cameron Pass can get a little heavy on the weekends.

I'm in norhern CO Springs and would love to do a drive some weekend as well. I usually stay up in Littleton for the weekends so anything around there would be fun.

Where in North Colo. Springs are you located? I'm near Cotton Wood park (Rangewood and Vickers) I don't see too many 8's up here.
