lmao so true. i remember when i first moved to texas from okinawa japan (which i lived thre for 16yrs) , i was thinking that car scene will be the same as okinawa. Which RWd cars is very popular for drift reasons, any how i remember leaving the airport with parents and i see these hondas passing us (at the time it was 1996) then thought to my self why would any one want to fix up a honda? being so use to being around mazdas, nissan, mistu and toyo, it was so new to me. then i look at my bro and started to laugh because he to was like wth, was that a honda fixed up ? Then my mom spoke to us in japanese saying was that a honda ? even my mom knows what cars is popular in japan are lol.

Then of course all my friends we all have rwd cars, so when i called to let him know that i have seen hundred's of ff car fixed up they also laugh and ask why. then say i hope they dont drift in them (i know you can drift in a FF car, but its like free comedy ) nah they like quater mile here in US. which is weird to us in japan. there are ppl who love quater mile in japan, but those are ususally the 4wd suped cars , supra, rx, skyline etc. They say i hope you don't have ff car :P , i ended up getting a 96 miata m edtion. I couldnt see my self driving a FF car, coming from a 91 rx7 turbo to a ff car made my stomach sick to think about it. So miata is car i got. Now i own a rx8 since 04 and that 96miata. but now i thinking i want to get s2k and trade the miata in, but the car has been so awesome to me, i dotn think i can let it go.

Now dont get me wrong, there are ppl in japan that had type r vech or some suped up toyota starlet , nissan pulsar or what ever ff car is good for there taste, but there was more rwd drivers then FF.

Do those headlights point FORWARD at all? It looks like they'd just shoot about 3' in front of the bumper. And check out the camber on that rear wheel! TYTE YOZ!!!1!! (actually, I can't tell if that's really jacked up camber or just a wacky angle)

 

man that is really embarassing! i used to own a s2k befor i traded it in for an rx8! i love my s2k and honda! i think they make great cars and i have seen some nicely moded out civics and integras. they were simple and clean. they just had lips. carbon hoods and trunks and some nice rims. but dont be fooled by civics. my buddy has a 94 civic ex that is tastefully moded and he got rid of his 1.6l for the infamous H22 prelude motor. thats guy is pulling rx8's,s2k's, 350 z's, g35's and wrx. its great to see a civic like that, that can hold its own and not look all wack!

 

I find people who like quarter mile, or drifting weird!
