Counterfeit TEIN S-tech springs are showing up more and more.

I won't buy anything for my car off Ebay. Just don't want to take the chance. I got my S-Techs from a reputable dealer.

 

whoa... i ordered my s-techs off ebay. made me to hurry and go check. Mine are authentic. whew...

One of my co-workers just bought an 8. He was looking for a good price on the S-techs. He mentioned to me just today that he found some on Ebay. I paid $168 shipped from prostreetonline.com.

 

Someone sure did take a lot of time and effort to make these counterfits. Thats really sad, hope nobody here or anywhere else falls victim.

Counterfeiting on Ebay has gotten WAY out of control.

bummer, I'll have to check my boxes tomorrow, hope I got the real thing, if not I'm going to try a different brand anyway or go coil overs or something.

no prob... i ran across it and since i know a lot of ppl here like the S-techs, i had to post it. Even i was considering these springs, but now they feel tainted for some reason. Another reason to go coilover!

 

Should be ok as long as you watch out for ebay.

 

I just checked I have the real ones, that was close from now on I will be a little more careful when buying stuff on ebay.

 

I bought my aem intake off ebay and it was missing some screws and the plugh for the sensore was off a little last time i buy stuff for my car off ebay dont want to take a chance

 

all Tein products are fake when compared against the real thing ....
