New Melbourne Skidpan day April 29
I have been talking with Kevin again and Saturday April 29 free for another skidpan day.
I have 2 confirmed places and 4 available. just waiting to hear back from Kevin as to wether it is the morning or afternoon. If their is enough interest could do both.This would require another 10 people on top of the 2 confirmations!

Hi StuAt the moment I'm committed to Autosalon that weekend 28-29th April. So my car will be there on the 29th, which we dont usually get out till 8-9pm.
I'm 99% sure I'll be in autosalon then so I cannot say I can make it, I'll know closer to the date whats happening with us, as we are still organising cars and if theres any places available then I'm in
ps- you guys mite have to visit us on Saturday as we have a quite saucy club theme this year
(Timtam & Eric shhhhhh about it hehe)No stress no drama, theres always a next time for lil ole me
Taka is on my case about o'neills, so after the May session you mite have me zooming along

I think there are more done up 8 in melbourne compare to sydney huh?? anyway hopefully this year autosalon we will start seeing the 8s earn their respect from the judges and actually winning something

believe it or not JDM... Kall's rx-8 actually came 1st in the dyno challenge at last years melbourne autosalon semi final with 120.8RWKW. (rotary category.... guess those fulli sik mega setup rx2/3/4/5/7 didnt want to take the risk and participate the dyno challenge)

Melb Semi-finals apparently there was a problem with the number of tropheys, wasnt enuff. "Runner ups" ended up getting voucher/certificates instead of a runner up trophey. Something happened with delivery of tropheys and they even ran out of 1st place ones aswell. So some categories were eliminated, however still recognised.
N/A Rotary category - I won it. However, due to lack of tropheys the judges had to make choice between V8 and Rotary. Obviously more V8s and being more popular, they went that way.
There is a video of my car on dyno and where the judge actually says my rx8 is the most powerful rotary there today.......
Considering i'm "just a girl" i am proud of what I have done to my car, - most mods ive performed myself, not knowing how to do them, but after researching and asking for advice I managed.
I dont have unlimited cash flow - being an Accountant I sit on the fence with the issue of spending money on cars (thats the 22yr old side of me showing) vs fact at the end of the day its a bloody waste of money (my Accountant side). So I do what I want within limits.

as far as im concerned, it is a top effort! a trophy is worth 30 bucks!
i will stand by my comment unless you can make more than 120.8RWKW. alot of ppl "in the know" in this forum still cant work out how her 8 was able to make that RWKW. hope you werent picking on her because she is a girl....... at least she is able to multi-task by driving a car with 3 peddals.

Just to update all the places have been filled.
Myself & the misses = 2
auzoom & the misses = 2
mirx*8 = 1
RXVIII = 1 (semi confirmed)
For the afternoon session Kevin has filled the positions.
