New Car in the Driveway!

There is a crazy story behind this car. We went to pontiac back in May and wanted to order one. They told us it would be out in 2 months. At the time the wife was drving a Kia and had gotten alot better job and increased her pay alot so go figure she wanted out of the kia. So 2 months went by and we called and they are like well it has been bumped to March or so. She hung up and was like screw that I have now saved up a ton of money for a down payment and want a new car. So out shopping we go. She had her eyes set on the 25th anniversary 350z Convert. for the past 3 weeks, but we stopped at Mazda because it was right down the street from the house because she wanted to look at the new miata because she really wanted a convert. We go in there and the sales guy is all about selling her a RX8 and wouldnt back down. So we walk out with the freakin Shinka model. Couldnt even nothing less at that point.

Go figure January comes around and Pontiac calls us telling us our car came in. We both had got real nice year end checks, sooooo she talks me into letting her have a second car. Damn you women and getting ur ways! I lost my freaking bonus check and dont even get to drive the car!

Perks of the car? None at all! >LoL< it is slow as hell! But you get to look real cool driving it around...Trunk? Where? Leg room? Hope u arnt over 5'10"! It does have a nice stereo if u get the upgraded package. Factory 8 inch sub behind the passenger seat and 6 other speakers in a small area. Sounds nice. Already added a CAI which actaully added almost 8 hp and sounds so much better.

you could of waited for the turbo version... from the numbers they are putting out... they seem pretty beastly.

We almost did wait for the GXP model, but hahn is coming out with a turbo kit that is putting out 32 more to the ground than the GXP model and it will still cost less than the GXP. So we are gonna go that route when it comes out next month.

Call it what you want. But when she is making as much as she is and still lets me mod my 2 cars without question. then I am happy to let her have what she wants!
