Turbo RX8 w/ Interceptor WOT Video

Here is the link for the video, if you can't load that page, just refresh the page a few times and it should work:
Turbo RX-8 WOT Street Video

Finished initial tuning last Friday. Runing stock boost, 91 CA gas and NOS octane booster.

Timing at 25 degree starting from 2000rpm all the way to 9000rpm
Decrease the pump 2 fueling
All idle reference points were down 2 points (except 0Hg)

Boost at stable 6.7 psi, WOT a/f 10.8-11.3, didn't notice any boost drop at high rpm
Crusing at 3800rpm at 6 gear, a/f 14.8
Idle a/f 11.3

Will do the on-and-off WOT tuning this weekend.

I don't know, since we road-tuned it. Maybe later when we complete all the tuning, I will put it on dyno to see how much horses it is making.

are you tuning this yourself? seems like you have the potential for alot more power.

I would really recommend taking it to a professional tuner.

I did not tune it by myself, but my friend did. He is a rotory expert who built and tuned the BRS pink FD, which got the 2nd best time (unlimited rear wheel drive) on redline time attack in California Speedway two week ago, but this is the first RX8 he tuned. Because of my blown motor experience, we aim at conservative tuning at this stage. I didn't even hook up the boost controller.

dam those are the stickiest tires... Are you having any traction issues at all? Don't really seem like you are from the vid. what kind of gauge pod is that?

Custom made from STI defi gauge pod. So far no traction issues on dry road.

I forgot you were the one who had the blown motor. Yes, staying conservative is probably a good idea right now.

Good Luck
