Hooray For Summer Rims!!!

Finally was able to put my new summer rims on. TSW Thruxtons that I actually bought off somone from this site. (pghRX8) He got rid of his 8 for a MS6. They came with BFG G FOrce T/A KDW Tires (Very Noisy TIRE) but they handle really well. Yes the clear corners are comming.

they look good

You need oil cooler screens to protect them.

The way those spokes curve inward make the wheel look a lot smaller than it really is, which is unfortunate. Otherwise, I really like those wheels - I just wish the spokes went straight into the wheel to keep them looking big.

aah, now thats better. Yes, they do make the wheel look a bit smaller than it is, but IMO, I like the look. I just really like the chrome lip. Where do i get oil cooler screens? For those who gave me the feedback, thanks. Always nice to hear what others think, like or dislike. Thanks again!

It does look smaller, don't quite dig it.

you can get oil cooler screens from racing beat or just go to home depot and make them yourself.

Yeah I don't like the big rim look, thats one of the reasons I chose these. What do I get at home depot to make the oil cooler screens? Just aluminum wire mesh or somthing?

They look small because of the size of the lip. Congrats on your new rims!

I on the other hand think they look great...lol. I was wondering if you had them on yet. I ended up forgetting about my clear corners and traded them in when i got the MS6, i should have thrown them in the packaging. Hope the wheels and tires last you a while!
