I won one of the two tricked out RX8's used to promote THQ's Juiced video game....too much power for me...I would like suggestions on how to market and sell this vehicle.

It is pictured on the front of the video game case. It sports a full body kit, gold rimmed racing tires, racing pedals, amazing sound system, cruise control, 6-speed manual...I've had it up to 70 mph and never got out of 5th gear! The mint green Mazda RX8 has under 400 miles on it...it is definitely a head turner.

Suggestions?

Thats pretty cool that you won that. I'm not really digging it though, but a free car is a free car.

 

If that car was any normal color... you could probably sell it pretty easily.

I suggest having it repainted, then throwing it up on ebay/autotrader.

lucky bastard .. that green makes me want to puke .. i say ebay .. 10k in mods is not much to give any extra value .. if you sell it for the price of a new rx8 you should be pretty happy but who knows maybe you can find some rich kid who need a spearmint rx8

 

part it out... repaint the car. You probably get a good penny doing it that way.

Thanks for all the feed back...I love the color...it is actually more of an irredesent green..appears to have blue "highlights". LOL

If I could afford to keep it I would....but people forget about taxes on prizes...I know I didn't think about taxes until I won it. Taxes run about 25% of the value....THQ has put a $40,000 value on this...I suppose because it is a collector's race car. They did send all the documentation....but I am not a collector, nor a sports car sort.

 

If you truely like the 8, you can sell that one for a pretty penny, then buy a used one. They are going for cheap, so you can probably buy one, and a few mods with the money you sell your current one for.

 

I would definitely Ebay it - even ask a premium for it!

The ideal buyer is a "Juiced" player with WAY more money than sense, and the only reason he doesn't have one is HE HASN'T SEEN it YET. Emphasis on YET...!

You have all the hard work done for you, there are many great pics of it, many cartoon renderings, and it may be butt-ugly, but it is very photogenic! Use every great-looking photo you can find in your ad.
