I am going through a divorce right now and can't afford to keep my dream car. It is a VR in color with sport package and has 14,000 miles on it. It is a 2004 model. I have a Mazda Speed (real one from Mazda) front bumper installed, it got MS fly wheel, MS front Strut Bar (carbon fiber), Corksport exhaust and Green Air filter replaceing the stock filter, clear bar. The car is driven 2-3 times a week when weather is nice in mostly highway miles. It has never seen ice or snow and I change oil every 2500 miles. The car has been waxed 3 times since I have it. It has the latest flash which is R level and all recall has been done to the car (heat shield over exhaust). The car has been perfect since day one as it always start on the first crank every time no matter how cold or hot the weather out side is (I live in Minnesota, in Rogers near Maple Grove). It also got good gas mileage. I can get 300+ miles out of the car before the low fuel light come on when driven on highway. Price is $21,000. My lost is your gain. Picture is attached to the email. what do you get for gas mileage?

 

Regarding gas mileage, when I drive to Duluth from Maple Grove in MN to visit friend which is around 160 miles or so. I set cruise control at 75 mph and it takes about 1/2 tank from full mark. So full tank would surely get over 300 miles for a full tank of gas, of course if you drive on highway. The lowest octane I use in the car is the 89. But driving in the city, my work is about 11 miles from home with a full tank of gas would normally last around 3 1/2 weeks driving at 55 mph speed limit on local county road. So if you know how to drive it, it is OK on gas. And yes, avoid prolong warm up. Just idel it up until it the engine sound start to level off and you are ready to go which is normally around 2 mins.

I forgot to say that the car came with a spare tire, an electric air pump and a patch kit as well. I also use dynamat to line whole trunk of the car and also under rear passengers seats to eliminate resonance from the cork sport exhaust at certain RPM which can be annoying (around 3000 to 3500 RMP). There is zero resonance in the car and the exhaust sound sweet and you only hear it when you want to hear it other wise you can only hear the engine hum and slight exhaust sound off the back. Just sweet.

I would so a trade if anyone has a VW Beetle in good condition (mileage around 30-60K miles on odometer) and have auto transmission and not green color.
