Interesting. Thanks for posting it. I'm surprised all us, 'ol' timers' have never seen this posted on the forum. Do you guys know how I can download any streetfire videos onto my computer? There are a few that are really good, and I've searched on their own forum for instructions, but no one has answered the guy that started a thread on the very same question.

Style is very subjective. Their crew likes the 350Z. Just because we love the RX-8 styling doesn't mean everyone will think the same.

Very nice find, didn't know that kinda stuff was on PBS lol.

I didn't know a 350z could spin the tires at will though.

it used to be set up so that all you have to do is just right click on the video area, hit properties, and when the properties window poped up, you just had to copy and paste the link provided. once that would happen, windows media player would come up and i could then just go to file > save, and save it on my computer.

i've been trying it like that, but recently the videos wouldn't open up in media player so i can't save the videos. if there's another way then that would be awesome to know!

I used to do the same way you did, but I thought I was losing my mind because I can no longer save it onto my computer. I would save it and everything would work the way it was supposed to but I can never find the file on my computer. Strange.

technically it is saved in your computer still. you just have to search through your internet cached files .

but, as long as you tell it where to save, then that's where it should be. if not, then it would probably save to a default location (usually my documents).

I just saw the video tonight, good review on both cars. But, they seem to give the advantage to the Z for everyday driving due to its power band. Is that correct? The Z with its stiff suspension, lack of space and heavy clutch? I find the 8 much better for everyday driving. Except for driving in traffic where I believe the Z gets better gas mileage.

Figures from "WHEELS" March 2006 Australia

0-100km/h 0-400m Lap time
350Z 6.6 sec 14.7 sec 39.40 sec
RX8 6.8 sec 14.8 sec 39.08 sec

Both pulled 0.89 Max G.

RX8(6th) finished on top of 350Z(7th)

People always complain how slow an RX8 is...

NB: 350Z has 44kw/142Nm advantage over RX8.

Question: How slow is a 350Z with all the power and torque advantage?
