OEM brushed aluminum gas door
Do you think the OEM option for the aluminum gas door enhances the sporty look, or is it tacky? IMO, I like the way it looks and I was thinking about getting it.

These are pics of the US version (albeit the chrome, you get the idea). Here is a pic of the satin one, for comparison.
This is how the JDM version looks like.
The big difference (apart from the looks) is that the US version has a black plastic hinge... which is sort of flimsy IMO. Besides, the JDM one looks much better, but it costs a lot more too, unfortunately.

I replaced my OEM chrome one with stock. Being LY the paint is a hair off but impossible to tell from a distance. I just thought it looked BLING. If I planned on getting 20'' chromes I would have kept it. But I'm going for black rims because yellow/black < yellow/chrome.
Personally I think all those doors are tacky. To me, it's sort of the epitome of ricer, trying to look like a race car with a cheap non-functional imitation. If you like, more power to you, it's your car. But I think they're goofy.
