Got Snow? (Run Away, 56k)

My snow camouflage worked beautifully. Good thing I kept the original corners, or else I might have never found it!

DC-area actually. NY was much worse. This was only around 13 inches.

Those are some nice pictures! Funny how "white" doesn't look so white against snow.

WOW! I'm a FL guy so I don't see it often and while I realize it's a big headache cleaning that stuff up, I still find it fun.

Sure it's a pain, but it's also beautiful to me...nice pictures! If I ever move up north or places where there is snow...I'd have to get a "snow car" so my 8 wouldn't be abused by the snow, lol.

Snow is actually pretty nice. :-) It's just a pain to get all the streets cleared off (or at least whittled down to a level that you can drive without bottoming out). Even the best snow tires can't help you if you're "floating" on a bit pile of snow. lol

Just a Canon Digital Elph PowerShot S230, by no means a "good" camera. Does the job, though.

It's true. People acted like the end of the world was coming. I was raised in Michigan, and my mom is from the Upper Peninsula... so I know a thing or two about what real snowfall is. Down here, they close schools if they think it's going to snow...

Still is fun to get that much snow in one sitting

Yea, people were bundled up like Nanook of the North on the Metro...jeeez its VAPORIZED water people, and my store had its canned goods and water supplied tapped this weekend...

Jeez your pipes aren't going to freeze, and if they do SNOW IS WATER...some people.

Hint to get through 10" of snow "Lift your leg up 11".

This is the first snow we've had all year. I still have the stock tires on the 8, and with a the DSC and remembering what I learned driving in the UP of Michigan it wasn't a problem do get down the snow covered-road to the salted access road at all. Of course, I had to wait for it to be packed down enough so that I could clear the snow, and there wasn't any major hills.

I love the snow; absolutely beautiful, very peaceful to be outside when it's snowing (everything is dampened, sound wise), and I don't mind shoveling at all.

Beautiful pictures. We have not had any serious snow this year and most of January was well above freezing! I miss the snow but I don't miss the shoveling!

I was worried about having the summer tires, but this is the first snow that has stuck and I think only the third time I've seen flakes all season.

hey guy this guy is a posser.

you know most people make snow man at times like this, he made an RX-8. Enjoy the weather, I'm fine with my 80-90 degree winter here in SoCal. Your title should read like this:

Got Snow? (Run Away Floridian and Caribbean people)

I miss my Island, summer all year around.
