Portland International Raceway
Anybody in the NW (especially Oregon drivers) taken the driving/performance school offered by PIR? If so, how was it? I'm thinking of taking it, if not for the safety aspect, but also to have fun safely in a control environment...it is so easy to speed with the 8

Is there a safer way to drive fast besides this in Oregon? If so, let me know! Thanks!!!

Yeah, I've done a Team Continental driver training and it was well run - good ground school, good on-track rules, etc. Track days are fun.
Another good way to get to know your '8 is autocross. Eugene has a very active club, and we have a well run SCCA club here in Portland.
