Hey whats up everyone? I am thinking of putting together a Nor Cal meet in the northern Bay Area, probably in Vacaville and having an import car gathering every other Friday for the Summer months. I am thinking along the lines of working with a local business and have the area where the main vehicles will be parked, roped off so that other vehicles will not be able to drive through that main area where there is a lot of foot traffic. We can probably get a DJ out there and I can get some aftermarket companies to throw down some goods for giveaways every once in a while such as T-shirts, decals, parts, etc... I am thinking to use about 50 of the best cars in the roped off area and if it gets too big we can probably move the gathering to another lot where there is more space but still have the lots blocked off for spectators.

Let me know what you think and who would be down to make it out this summer.

We might have it at a mazda dealership in Sacramento and bring out members from other forums like the 3s, 7s, and 6s. There is a possibility of doing it twice. One time at the local graphics shop in Vacaville with a small car show and then the 2nd time at a Mazda Dealership in Sacramento. We will try and shoot for July or August timeline.

Both events should have free food and hopefully some raffles if we can get some sponsors to throw in some goodies.

 

Lots of locals I see. Im in Suisun. Is there much excitement around here? Seems a lot quieter then Bay Area/South Bay, but it's been a few years since I got out much.

Alright im in and also excited! what is the set date?

 

sorry guys been really busy lately. We are looking at Sept 1st for the Date. Lots of things still need to happen. I am going to be in talks with Mazda and we can probably do a couple caravans and make a coupe stops at local audio shops and or motorsport shops along the way. Let me know which is a better location, Pittsburg, Sacramento, or somewhere in the Bay Area. This will be open to all mazda owners to attend and we will have a BBQ at around 5pm and hang out, shoot photos and video.

I will keep you guys updated on the status but please post up which city you would like the meet to end at for the BBQ, there has to be a Mazda dealership in the area you propose.

Let us know ASAP. I will be talking to some sponsors and see what we can get.
