REVi vs K&N Typhoon
From what I've read, the most popular intakes seem to be the REVi and the K&N, so what are the pros and cons of both? I'm more interested in performance than sound, but I definately want both.
I have Revi. Its louder than stock but I don't think it is anywhere as close to as loud as K&N. As to performance, from what I've read, both are very low, 1-4 horsepower or something, even though K&N guarantees 8-10.
K&N can only gives you around 3-5 HP @ 8500 rpm+ (Redline is 9000, remember that)
The Dyno chart on K&N's website ... I dont know but it seems kinda weird to me.
I really dont know wheres the 8+ hp coming from.
and yes I have the New Typhoon for a long while. (As you can see my profile picture)
ITs louder than stock for sure, not sure about REVi.
