Self inflicted, actually. That stuff is spray on "frost" that we were having fun with over the holidays and all. The kids got a little carried away. You can see the effect better in this pic:

So the Rose Bowl game was New Years Day........did you wash that stuff off your car yet? Or is the picture above permanent damage? Cuz I would've had that stuff cleaned off mine asap. There's no way I'd drive around with faux puke frost whatever it is caked to the side of my car.. But hey that's just me.

Well it was the car that got beaten with a wet noodle. And lots of them. (Otherwise known as a car wash.) The spray-on crystals came right off.

It was great to play with and I'd love to crystalize my 8 again some time. It looks best on the windows. Not so great on the paint, especially when it starts to drip.
I took off the plastic rotary accent from the passenger seat because my youngest daughter's head would hit right up against it. Not very comfortable for her. Mazda was obviously designing for aesthetics at the expense of short-person comfort.

I do remember seeing someone here who built a triangular padded insert. Looks like we were trying to solve the same problem. I just took the lazy way out.
