OMG I think I'm buyin an RX8 Tomorrow in Oakville!!
Holy Crap, at long last I've found the car that I have no doubt I was born to drive...I test drove one last week and nearly cried when the dealer said I have to give back the keys...but I found one thats the coclor I need (Titanium Grey). Its an '04 GT, has got 18K and the dealer wants $31990...any insight on the price folks...is this a good deal? I'm trading in my truck for this mighty machine....OMG I'm getting wood just thinking about this car!!!!!!!!!

Congrats ... I say go for it ... but the price is a little steep ... you should be able to talk them down to around $29,500.00. Its a buyers market right now for RX-8's with the 06's coming out and so many resales .... just check auto trader .... it's probably the car with the most hits! Anyways good luck and hope to see you on the road soon! Oh and winter tires is are a MUST for winter driving!

Congrats and welcome to the addiction. Get the Mazda dealer to throw in the winter wheels and tires. (car plus winters for $30K?)

I believe there has been the occassional incident of rusty rotors and inadequate power delivery....Don't worry about the rumours of spontaneous combustion though....VREDS rule - just accept the fact that there are a superior color out there

It is a sales incentive on 2005 model rx-8s being offered by Mazda,you get to pick up to $2000 worth of Mazdaspeed parts for your new car---note that racing parts are not available thro Mazda Canada,but you can get body kits,brakes ,wheels etc.Talk to a dealer they have details.

ah man, 2000 bucks for mazdaspeed.. dammit!!! why didn't they give us any deals when we bought it 
well 2k isn't that much for mazdaspeed, you'll be lucky to get the front bumper with that.. I think its about the same if not more than 2k .. Nice incentive though, just wish we can still get it

You'll all be relieved to know that I signed the papers for my brilliant black 05 GT 6MT this morning...you can all sleep easier now, knowing that come Thursday I'll be behind the wheel of this amazing machine. Thanks to everyone for tips and the such!

I think AC SB is looking at a 04 model.... MazdaSpeed dollars does not apply!!! Only on 05 models! And really and truely, If you were to go for a 05 RX8, take the $2000 cash incentive instead of using it on the parts for a fact that the parts department is gonna mark it up and you will still have to pay them for the extra anyways!!! I have a 04 BRAND NEW that I can sell for $31000 if you are interested!!!
