That car kept it's shape amazingly well. As old as that vehicle is, it did spectacular. This belongs in the lounge by the way.

Looks to have held up well. I'd feel safe running into a brick wall with it...

 

i have the book on the mclaren f1, i think it's called Driving Ambition...and in it they say that THAT car was the first to do THAT test and drive away with the steering and suspension in perfectly functional order...

 

I would hate to be in that car when it slips off the track

 

^As long as I'm not paying for the bill I can careless. Would suck to wreck in it...

 

Now that was funny - the subtitles was in Swedish!
In short they state that the carbon fiber front has been molded to bend in order to cusion the impact - and, as stated above, it was the only car ever that was able to be driven after the test.
